Basic Delivery Information

We understand that getting your items quickly is important to you, so we make every effort to process your order quickly. Estimated shipping and delivery times are displayed on each of our product pages. After credit approval and shipment, delivery can take up to 7 business days depending on where you live.

Quantities of merchandise may be extremely limited. Selection varies and changes daily. All merchandise is sold first come, first served. We will contact you if an item that you have ordered is sold-out or unavailable.

Basic Shipping

Shipping is done via all major ground carriers, including FedEx, UPS, United States Postal Service (USPS), and Fed Ex SmartPost (which uses the U.S Postal Service for final delivery to the package destination). Allow up to 3 days for warehouse processing. Once your order leaves our warehouse, transit time is up to 7 to 10 business days within the lower 48 continental United States, based on your location.

Shipping and processing charges for all items is based on the item size, weight, delivery destination, or other factors. We do our best to provide you with accurate shipping and delivery times on all our designs, but please note that these times are estimates only. Shipping and delivery estimates are not a guarantee. Same Day Expedited Processing

If your order is time sensitive, request Same Day Expedited Processing. Please call us to request this service.

Same Day Expedited Processing means that we will pick, process and put your order on an outgoing truck that same day or first thing the next business day. Orders are sent by ground shipping. Pricing is based on the item size, weight and delivery location. Not all items qualify; items requiring freight delivery, over-sized items and white-glove orders are not eligible for expedited processing. Orders must be received by 1 pm Pacific Time to be processed on the same day. Orders received after 1 pm Pacific Time or on a weekend will be processed first thing the next business day. We're sorry, but at this time we are unable to ship to PO Box address.

In all circumstances, our maximum liability is limited to this "Same Day Expedited Processing" fee only. We cannot guarantee expedited processing for all orders, we will put forth our best effort to ship orders as promised or your fee will be refunded.

Freight Delivery Information

Some heavy and/or oversized items will be shipped by Freight Curbside Delivery using air-ride trucks to guarantee the least possible breakage. This is a dependable and economical service with deliveries being made Monday thru Friday during business hours. Deliveries are scheduled in a 4-hour time window and a freight company representative will contact you by phone to arrange a delivery appointment. Delivery lead time is 3-5 days from the shipment date.

Freight Curbside Delivery covers delivery to your curbside only. Please note that extra charges may apply to remote areas and for complicated deliveries. We're sorry, but at this time we are unable to ship to PO Box address.

Overnight or 2nd, 3rd Day Express Delivery

Express delivery is available on some orders for an additional charge.

Next Day (Overnight) Shipping orders received by 1 PM Pacific Time will ship that same day Monday thru Friday for delivery the next business day. Orders received after 1 pm Pacific Time or on a weekend will be processed first thing the next business day.

2nd Day Shipping orders received by 1 PM Pacific Time will ship that same day Monday thru Friday for delivery 2 business days later. Orders received after 1 pm Pacific Time or on a weekend will be processed first thing the next business day.

3rd-Day Shipping orders received by 1 PM Pacific Time will ship that same day Monday thru Friday for delivery 3 business days later. Orders received after 1 pm Pacific Time or on a weekend will be processed first thing the next business day.

Silver White Glove Delivery Policy

Silver White Glove Delivery is a special service for the home delivery of furniture and other designs. This service includes delivery into your home or office building and room of choice. Delivery lead time is 3-5 business days from the shipment date.

A local delivery agent will call you directly to schedule an appointment. Delivery times are scheduled around a 4 hour window between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.

The service does not include unpacking or the removal of packing material, or the moving or removal of any existing furniture. Please make sure that your area is cleared before delivery personnel arrive. Delivery does not include the set-up or re-installation of any electrical equipment or home electronics, or any component, electrical, or plumbing hookup.

Always pre-measure the space where your item is to be placed to make sure it will fit. Also, pre-measure entryways, doors, stairways and walkways to ensure that items can be fit into your home. If you have any questions, please call us; a sales representative will be happy to assist you in your buying process.

Silver White Glove Delivery service is available only for the lower 48 contiguous United States, with the exception of New York State. We're sorry, but this service is not available for Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, or for overseas orders.

Upon delivery, you should thoroughly inspect your White Glove item with the delivery personnel. If the product is without defect, you will be asked to sign a Proof of Delivery receipt that states you have inspected your product and found it to be in good condition.

White Glove Blanket Wrap Delivery Policy

White Glove Blanket Wrap Delivery is a special service required for the home delivery of certain made-to-order, fully assembled furniture that is unboxed. Items shipped via White Glove Blanket Wrap Delivery are carefully wrapped in packing blankets and hand-delivered by white glove professionals. Service also includes placement of the item/s inside your home or office, and the unwrapping and removal of any packing material.

A local delivery agent will call you directly to schedule an appointment that is convenient for you. Delivery time is 2 to 4 weeks from the shipment date, but may be more in the holiday season. The service does not include the moving or removal of any existing furniture. Please make sure that your area is cleared before delivery personnel arrive. Delivery does not include the set-up or re-installation of any electrical equipment or home electronics, or any component, electrical, or plumbing hookup.

White Glove Blanket Wrap Delivery service is available only for the lower 48 contiguous United States, with the exception of New York State. Please note that there may be additional charges if the delivery has to go up or down more than one level in the home, requires the use of an elevator, or if the driver is unable to access your neighborhood with a standard delivery vehicle. We're sorry, but this service is not available for Alaska, Hawaii, New York, Canada, or for overseas orders.

Please note that we do not accept returns on items shipped via White Glove Blanket Wrap Delivery, due to their custom and made-to-order nature. Be sure to inspect your product for defects upon arrival; in the event of any defects, see our Damaged Merchandise and Replacement Policy below.

Making a Return

If for any reason you are not satisfied with a purchase, return it within 60 days of receiving it. Pending inspection, a refund will be issued to you for the value of the item including taxes. All shipping charges on returns are non-refundable. Note that some conditions apply and not all products are eligible for return; read below for our complete policy. Absolutely no returns will be accepted after 60 days; please inspect all products upon receipt. Please note that Blanket Wrap items are not eligible for returns.

For White Glove items, you have ten (10) days from the date of delivery to notify us that you would like to return your White Glove order. All shipping charges on White Glove returns are non-refundable, and a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from your return once the credit is processed. For freight returns a $99 pick-up fee will be deducted from your return once the credit is processed.

We're sorry, but Lamps Plus Open Box orders cannot be returned to our Lamps Plus store locations. Open Box returns must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) as outlined below and be returned by mail to our warehouse.

To ensure that your return is processed accurately and promptly, please call us first at 877-233-7094.

A customer service associate will provide you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and instructions on how to ship the product back to us.

*Please note that returns made without a Return Merchandise Authorization will not be accepted.

Write the Return Merchandise Authorization on the pre-printed return address form included with your boxed order. Complete the returns form, then pack it with your order and affix the address label to the outside of the box. Send your return via Fed Ex, UPS or USPS and obtain a tracking number.

Respond to the order return request e-mail with the shipment date and tracking number. If possible, also include a copy of your e-mailed invoice in your return box.

Once the product is received at our warehouse in good condition we will issue a refund for the amount of the product and tax to the original method of payment used for the purchase. All shipping charges on purchases and returns are non-refundable. All merchandise must be in the original packaging.

Our Warranty Policy

Lamps Plus, Inc. proudly stands behind the products we sell on LampsPlusOpenBox.com. Our One-Year Warranty states that we will repair or, at our option, replace at no charge, your purchase within one year of the purchase date, should you discover any defect in materials or workmanship.

This warranty does not cover defects, including breakage or malfunctions, caused by your mishandling or use of the product in ways other than specified by the manufacturer. Light bulbs included with product are not covered by this warranty. Ceiling fans and furniture products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty included in their packaging. The furniture we sell is for residential use only, and is not designed, manufactured, or recommended for use in a commercial or non-residential setting.

This warranty extends the manufacturer's warranty by one year, excluding any electronic components, remote controls, or any in-home warranties. To obtain service for an item under warranty, please contact our Customer Service department at 877-233-7094 (US and abroad, except Canada). If you are a member of our Professionals program, call 800-304-8120. All items must be returned to Lamps Plus for service.

In no event shall Lamps Plus, Inc. be liable for incidental damages. Some states and/or provinces do not allow limitations for how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, which may vary from state to state and/or province to province. Please keep your original receipt with this warranty. Tracking Your Order

Use our Check Your Order Status page to track the status of your order. Enter the order number that was sent in your order confirmation e-mail and click the search button to view your information. Please note that oversized and heavy items must be sent by a freight shipping company. Please allow twenty-four business day hours from the time your order was submitted for the status to begin updating.

You can also track your order via the carrier's shipping tracking system. Your shipping confirmation e-mail will contain a shipping tracking number for your use. Again, please note that it may take up to twenty-four hours from the time an item is shipped to the time information is available for viewing on the carrier's website.

Fraudulent Charge Protection

LAMPS PLUS offers a "Safe Shopping Guarantee." If a third party obtains your personal information from a purchase made with Lamps Plus Open Box Outlet Site and uses that information to perpetrate credit card fraud, you are protected. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank may hold you liable for up to $50 of fraudulent charges. If your bank holds you liable for any portion of the $50, LAMPS PLUS will cover up to the entire $50.

LAMPS PLUS will cover this liability if the unauthorized use resulted through no fault of yours from a purchase made on the Lamps Plus Open Box Outlet Site secure server. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card company in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
